Who will the Carolina Panthers start at QB?
Sam Darnold remains confident he will start for the Carolina Panthers but the signal-caller can be one of the league’s best if everything comes together.
Delusions of grandeur? Perhaps.
But as of right now, Darnold is in the driving seat and has reportedly approached OTAs with more of an edge this time around.
The Panthers drafted Matt Corral to compete with Darnold and judging by the Panthers’ Confidential footage, key figures within the organization think he can potentially become a franchise quarterback once he fully adjusts to life at the next level.
Carolina also freed up a significant amount of salary-cap space to make another move should they wish. Baker Mayfield rumors are not going away anytime soon and Jimmy Garoppolo is another potential veteran that could be a target depending on how his injured shoulder heals ahead of training camp.
Darnold has an uphill battle awaiting him.
Even though he is refusing to go down without a fight.
