Which players would the Carolina Panthers love to steal from their NFC South rivals for a critical 2022 season for the franchise?

The Carolina Panthers have a slight window of opportunity to make a splash in the NFC South next season. One could make a case for the division being among the weakest in football right now, although the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New Orleans Saints will likely fancy their chances of a deep postseason run if everything goes according to plan.

It’s unlikely that the Panthers will harbor such ambitions after flattering to deceive more often than not since Matt Rhule took charge. Despite this underachievement, morale remains high within the organization and the introduction of new coaches could provide the spark needed to finally achieve some semblance of respectability at long last.

Carolina has its work cut out. There’s no getting away from that and especially given how tough their schedule looks throughout the campaign.

Fans are not expecting the Panthers to be Super Bowl contenders.

Far from it, actually.

But if they can rid themselves of the major flaws that played a leading role behind their demise last season and get some notable wins against divisional foes, then some modest objectives could be within reach.

Speaking hypothetically, we picked out one player from every NFC South rival that the Panthers would like to steal in 2022.
