Stealing one player from every Panthers NFC South rival in 2022

Carolina Panthers would love to steal Tom Brady
The quarterback problems still remain for the Carolina Panthers despite Matt Corral’s arrival and constant speculation linking the organization with a trade for Baker Mayfield. Unless a miracle happens with Sam Darnold, this position once again has the scope to wreck all the good work put in during the offseason.
Not everyone is lucky enough to have a franchise signal-caller. But the Panthers have struggled to find even competent production under center since the team released Cam Newton in 2020.
This leaves little doubt that if the Panthers had the chance, they would steal Tom Brady for the 2022 season. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers looked set to move on from the legendary quarterback when he announced his retirement earlier this year, but a quick change of heart soon followed with the veteran claiming he still had something to prove.
Just what that is with seven Super Bowl rings and a first ballot Pro Football Hall of Fame resume is anyone’s guess. But the Bucs went from also rans to legitimate contenders when Brady opted to come back for one final go-around.
It’s hard to gauge just how much better the Panthers would be with Brady. A playoff spot would be a definite possibility and perhaps going deep into the postseason could also occur if other positional groups lived up to their end of the bargain.
Sadly, the Panthers don’t have Brady. Or anything close for that matter.
