Isaiah Graham-Mobley – Carolina Panthers LB

Finding the right solution at linebacker remains a problem for the Carolina Panthers and might get even worse if Damien Wilson’s offseason arrest turns into more. This is something to monitor in the coming weeks, with the possibility of new arrivals also in the offing depending on what transpires.

Carolina might also decide to go with what they have.

For now, at least.

This would be great news for someone like Isaiah Graham-Mobley, who was signed in undrafted free agency after failing to hear his name called during the 2022 NFL Draft. He is a former Matt Rhule college player, which works in his favor, and there was enough solid production at Boston College following a final-year transfer that could be developed over time.

Anyone expecting Graham-Mobley to come in and become Luke Kuechly’s long-term successor is kidding themselves. There is a lot of hard work ahead for the player, but the athleticism and physical attributes are evident.

Graham-Mobley is still very raw despite his obvious explosiveness. If he can improve instincts and become more consistent in coverage, the Panthers might have themselves another diamond in the rough.
