Tommy Tremble – Carolina Panthers TE

Getting more production from the tight end position is a necessity in 2022. It’s been a non-existent area since Greg Olsen left for the Seattle Seahawks and standing firm with their current options represents a gamble from the Carolina Panthers that could go either way.

Ian Thomas signed a new three-year deal when many expected him to be shown the door in free agency. But the former fourth-round pick might just have his hands full keeping Tommy Tremble out of the starting lineup if the necessary improvements are made.

Tremble looks like a promising player if he can refine his route-running technique and overall pass-catching. The athleticism and blocking ability are already right where they need to be, so if these two areas can develop in the coming weeks, then the Panthers have the complete package on their hands.

In all honesty, it doesn’t matter if it’s Thomas or Tremble.

Just so long as one of them puts up the numbers needed.

The Panthers will be hoping for more where Tremble is concerned. And he flashed real promise in a limited role over his rookie campaign.

Tremble spent time at the recent Tight End University alongside Thomas and others across the league. Hopefully, the information acquired can be the spark that ignites the Notre Dame product in 2022.
