4 Panthers coaches who could get promotions if things go well in 2022

Ben McAdoo – Carolina Panthers OC
After the Carolina Panthers promised a rockstar appointment after deciding to fire offensive coordinator Joe Brady midway through their bye week in 2021, the organization finally settled with Ben McAdoo. Not exactly what most had in mind, but it could be a significant upgrade nonetheless.
McAdoo has a wide range of experience in various positions, even holding the New York Giants head coaching job until things ended sourly. This is a major chance for him to repair his reputation with a talented core on offense that might now have the missing link under center in Baker Mayfield.
There no denying how influential McAdoo has been throughout the offseason to date. He played a role in Ian Thomas getting a new deal and also banged the table hard for Ole Miss prospect Matt Corral during the 2022 NFL Draft.
The stakes are high for the Panthers and McAdoo next season. But judging by comments from D.J. Moore and others, his new scheme is going over well with the primary playmakers within the locker room.
Perhaps another head coaching opportunity for McAdoo might be pushing things a little. Especially considering how many young coaches are surging up the ranks en route to getting their shots sooner rather than later.
However, if McAdoo galvanizes Carolina exponentially, then it cannot be ruled out.
