Brady Christensen – Carolina Panthers OL

Brady Christensen being on this list might be a shock. But the offensive lineman will have a huge part to play during his sophomore campaign.

The BYU product played 80 snaps as a rookie, conceding two penalties and allowing four sacks. This earned a 61.6 grade from Pro Football Focus after bouncing around at left guard and left tackle in 2021.

In 2022, if the entire offensive line is healthy it will most likely shake out to be a starting core of Taylor Moton, Austin Corbett, Bradley Bozeman, Brady Christensen, and Ikem Ekwonu. Something that could provide the Carolina Panthers with stable protection in front of Baker Mayfield.

With that being said, it’s not a sure thing that Christensen will be the starting left guard. Much will depend on offensive line coach James Campen’s evaluation and head coach Matt Rhule hasn’t ruled him out on the blindside, either.

Campen will be a huge help to Christensen and his development. Fans should be excited to see what is to come from the second year player.

It’s not certain where Christensen will be starting on the offensive line. But those watching from the stands can expect a much-improved campaign from the third-round draft selection.

Guys like Moton, Corbett, and Bozeman have established themselves in this league. So it’s important for Mayfield and the offense that Christensen develops and turns into the player the front office thinks he can be.
