Here are some bold predictions for the Carolina Panthers during their upcoming training camp at Wofford College in Spartanburg.

Business is about to pick up for the Carolina Panthers as they get set to make their annual pilgrimage to Wofford College for training camp. A critical few weeks at the best of times, but even more so this summer with so much on the line in 2022.

It’s been another eventful offseason for the Panthers. Something that wasn’t entirely unexpected after team owner David Tepper kept faith with head coach Matt Rhule despite Carolina losing 12 of their final 14 contests to close the campaign.

There are plenty of new faces within the locker room and across the coaching staff. But it’s tough to gauge just what fans can hope for at the moment, which makes practices in Spartanburg especially fascinating.

Without further ado, here are five bold predictions for the Panthers during one of the most pivotal training camps in recent memory.

Deonte Brown forces his way onto Carolina Panthers OL rotation

The future of Deonte Brown is up in the air after a disappointing rookie campaign that resulted in very few chances to shine. Weight issues remained a problem for the sixth-round selection, who was brought along slowly, active just three times, and generated 30 snaps in total.

A number of fresh faces arrived across the offensive line this offseason. Something the Carolina Panthers needed, but it makes Brown’s task even more difficult during training camp.

This will be a stern test of character for Brown. But if the Alabama product puts it all together, a surprising spot high up the rotation might not be too far behind.
