Which Carolina Panthers players have the most to prove during a hugely important training camp for the organization ahead of the 2022 season?

Training camp is always a must-watch where the Carolina Panthers are concerned. This year’s preparations for the 2022 campaign promise to be no different.

The Panthers have an abundance of hungry, young talent across their roster. Those in power also worked tirelessly throughout the offseason in pursuit of giving head coach Matt Rhule everything he needs to thrive in Year 3 under his leadership.

Although the weather is expected to be wet over the first week, Spartanburg is normally humid and immensely testing. Something that Carolina’s new recruits must be ready for as the organization looks to hit the ground running in Week 1 against the Cleveland Browns.

Without further ado, we picked out five Panthers players with the most to prove over the next few weeks at Wofford College.

C.J. Henderson – Carolina Panthers CB

It’s now or never for C.J. Henderson. The cornerback has to make his presence felt for the Carolina Panthers next season with a full preparation period under his belt and there is plenty at stake for the former first-round pick now he is fully acclimatized to different surroundings.

Henderson was acquired for a third-round pick and tight end Dan Arnold last season. Carolina took their time with the Florida product, with self-confidence relatively low after a torrid first year with the Jacksonville Jaguars, one of the league’s basement-dwellers.

Working with Steve Wilks should be a massive asset to Henderson. But there is no denying the fact he has plenty to prove this summer and when competitive action arrives.
