Which Carolina Panthers players find themselves with falling stock after an eventful first week of training camp practices in Spartanburg?

After a long offseason, the Carolina Panthers finally returned to training camp when they reported to Wofford College last week. The real stuff began today (Monday) when the pads came on, but there was still plenty to unpack over the opening few practices.

Most of the Panthers‘ position battles are on offense, with questions to be answered at quarterback, wide receiver, and across the offensive line.

Although the defense is dealing with injuries, they were challenged by head coach Matt Rhule to create takeaways. During the first portion of camp, we saw Phil Snow’s group begin to make those strides in impressive fashion.

While most of the defense performed as expected, we still have some questions on the offensive side of the ball. It’s hard to really break down the film when the players are in shorts, but fans still want to see strides made by a unit that frankly was abysmal last season.

The atmosphere is certainly encouraging within the locker room and across the field in practice. Only time will tell as to whether this pays off when the regular season arrives.

With that being said, here are four Panthers players whose stock fell for differing reasons over the first week of Carolina’s training camp.
