D.J. Moore – Carolina Panthers WR

After signing a bumper contract extension this offseason, expectations have risen accordingly for D.J. Moore. Something the wide receiver is undoubtedly capable of reaching after a phenomenal start to his NFL career.

Moore continues to produce exceptional numbers despite the standard of quarterback play being sub-par at best. The former first-round pick has gone over 1,000 receiving yards in each of the last three seasons and the player now has a contract befitting of his outstanding talent.

Unsurprisingly, Moore has been one of the standouts over the first week of camp. His blossoming relationship with quarterback Baker Mayfield has caught the eye and the Maryland product remains a nightmare for any cornerback going up against him in drills.

There is real hope that Moore can go from underrated into the elite category in 2022. This will also be dependent on Mayfield’s distribution under center and how the wideout evolves within Ben McAdoo’s scheme, but the upside is there for all to see.

Moore will continue to shine as camp goes on. There is absolutely no question about that whatsoever.

Hopefully, this can transition into competitive games and other wide receivers on the roster raise their respective contributions to give Moore a helping hand for once.
