Frankie Luvu – Carolina Panthers OLB

It was no surprise to see Frankie Luvu shining brightly when things got more physical. The outside linebacker relishes that part of the game and once again gave the coaching staff a supreme indication of what he can bring to a starting role next season.

Luvu is fast, explosive, and makes things happen all over the field. He has also emerged as a leader within the locker room that others look to for motivation in times of strife.

This is all part of Luvu’s phenomenal growth since joining the Carolina Panthers in 2021 free agency from the New York Jets. Much more is expected of the Washington State product after signing a new deal, but the signs from camp are promising, to say the least.

The Panthers will be relying heavily on Luvu. This has been especially evident throughout their time in Spartanburg after Shaq Thompson was ruled out after undergoing a minor knee procedure.

It’s a responsibility that Luvu is taking seriously with increasing influence on and off the field. A supreme difference-maker that looks poised for a true breakout campaign providing there are no complications on the injury front.

Carolina needs something after losing Haason Reddick in free agency. Hopefully, Luvu can provide the spark needed when competitive action begins.
