Robbie Anderson – Carolina Panthers WR

After an eventful offseason for Robbie Anderson, the wide receiver looked like something like his old self in training camp. The veteran came to life when the pads went on and also put in additional work to enhance chemistry with new quarterback Baker Mayfield, who is expected to start for the Carolina Panthers in 2022.

Anderson and Mayfield almost connected on a deep ball at the Washington Commanders on Saturday. But the wideout was unable to hang on with big hits coming to prevent a notable highlight.

That was an issue on occasions for Anderson last season. The Panthers didn’t have much in the way of consistent production under center and the former Temple star suffered more than most en route to some career lows across the board.

All signs point to Anderson bouncing back. He’s still a prominent part of the team’s plans and considering the big financial sum coming his way in 2023, the wideout must prove his worth in order to see out the final year of his deal.

Of course, it could go the other way. But Anderson looks fully focused and ready to help Carolina prove some doubters wrong during a make-or-break campaign for the organization.
