Carolina Panthers wide receivers

  • D.J Moore, Robbie Anderson, Rashard Higgins, Terrace Marshall Jr., Shi Smith, C.J. Saunders, Andre Roberts (WR/KR).

This wide receiver position group is solid and possesses a lot of skill. And any success the Carolina Panthers can generate in 2022 will rely on how well these wideouts perform.

With the abysmal quarterback play last season, the only wide receiver who saw success was D.J. Moore, who has three straight seasons with 1,100 receiving yards. Robbie Anderson will need to return to his 2020 form where he eclipsed 1,000 yards receiving.

Rashard Higgins already has chemistry with Baker Mayfield from their time together with the Cleveland Browns and has made some nice plays in the preseason. He could be a major factor in the passing game in 2022.

If Terrace Marshall Jr. can stay healthy this season, he will turn a lot of heads. The former second-round pick could potentially become the No. 3 receiver on this team.

Shi Smith has picked up some major steam as of late as teammates are saying the sky is the limit for the former South Carolina Gamecock. C.J. Saunders started training camp on fire. before suffering an injury, so he could be a big-time player in the slot next season.

This prediction of the 53-man roster has Brandon Zylstra being left off.

The wide receiver room is so crowded, and it’s hard to believe with how versatile Zylstra is that he’d be left off. But that could become reality.
