Carolina Panthers final 53-man roster prediction after 2022 preseason
Carolina Panthers running backs
- Christian McCaffrey, D’Onta Foreman, Chuba Hubbard.
The Carolina Panthers running back room got better this offseason and can make some serious noise in 2022. But all this depends on the health of the team’s most productive individual.
Christian McCaffrey is arguably the best dual-threat weapon in the NFL when healthy. He is the heart of the offense, and the Panthers need him to be on the field in 2022.
The former Stanford sensation brings so much versatility and his pass blocking is an extremely underrated area of his game that should assist greatly. Simply put, good things happen for the Panthers when McCaffrey is on the field.
D’Onta Foreman could be an excellent acquisition for the Panthers this season. He is a power back and can get those tough short yards so the player should see a decent amount of carries in an attempt to lower McCaffrey’s workload throughout the campaign.
Chuba Hubbard had a decent rookie season, accumulating some good games as the starter while McCaffrey was hurt. He needs to improve his catching ability in the passing game to take his skill set to the next level, with the Oklahoma State product dropping several balls during the team’s preseason finale against the Buffalo Bills.
