Laviska Shenault Jr. provides Carolina Panthers with another scheme weapon

Another weapon for an already stacked receiving room, adding Laviska Shenault Jr. into the mix will only keep defenses off balance by spreading the ball, not allowing them to dictate or guess who will see the most targets throughout the game.

Shenault has more than 1,000 receiving yards through the two seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars. The numbers could be better, but the AFC South club was all over the place from the coaches to the whole organization throughout his time there.

Not only did the situation affect Shenault, but it also impacted the whole organization. Something that led the Jaguars to two consecutive No. 1 picks in star quarterback Trevor Lawrence and edge rusher Travon Walker.

Pairing Shenault with D.J. Moore, Robbie Anderson, Shi Smith, and Terrace Marshall Jr. will be fun to watch. Defenses can never anticipate who will see the most targets week to week and that’s exactly what Matt Rhule wants.

Rhule wants to see the ball spread all over the field instead of force-feeding Anderson or Moore.  Shenault’s arrival gives the Carolina Panthers another scheme weapon that can make a difference in key moments providing his transition to a new environment goes smoothly.
