Which way could the Carolina Panthers go with their 2023 NFL Draft selections with obvious needs already coming to the fore?

The Carolina Panthers have just one regular season game under their belt in 2022. But it’s clear that one or two key needs are already surfacing ahead of next year’s draft.

There’s a long way to go until the next batch of college recruits take their chances at the next level. Something that’s already seeing various prospects seeing draft stocks surge or decrease based on production to date.

The Panthers and others across the league will be scouting heavily in the coming weeks before finalizing potential prospects of interest. This comes before the all-important assessment period at events such as the Senior Bowl and NFL Scouting Combine.

Even though there are obvious positions that will require attention next spring, Carolina has plenty of unknowns right now. Most importantly is the future of head coach Matt Rhule and whether or not he’ll be in the job when the time comes.

According to the Pro Football Network mock simulator, the Panthers are slotted at No. 8 overall right now. Using this, we took a look at which way they might go with things becoming a little clearer in our latest seven-round Panthers mock draft.
