Carolina Panthers’ defense creates 3 turnovers

As stated previously, the Carolina Panthers didn’t have much to shout about on defense in Week 1. The Cleveland Browns exposed their indifferent run defense, with Nick Chubb having a hugely profitable day and Kareem Hunt also gaining significant yards from limited touches.

Phil Snow didn’t seem too bothered by his group’s lack of production. But the same complications keep emerging and unless they get sorted out soon, it will be another lost season.

It’s easy to get carried away with one loss. There are still 16 games to go and all to play for where the Panthers are concerned.

However, the need for instant improvement is glaring when one considers the strength of teams upcoming on the schedule.

The New York Giants performed well at the Tennessee Titans in Week 1. But quarterback Daniel Jones is known to give opposing defenses opportunities for turnovers in key moments.

Simply put, this is something the Panthers must take advantage of. The talent is there, it’s generating turnovers consistently that remains a stumbling block.

With that being said, Snow can silence some of his doubters this weekend at the Giants. Three turnovers would be more than enough to potentially come away victorious.
