Christian McCaffrey prop bets

  • Over 100.5 combined yards at -114 (FanDuel)

Week 2 was much more like it from Christian McCaffrey‘s perspective. The Carolina Panthers got him involved more in the running game en route to more than 100 rushing yards for the first time since 2019, but it wasn’t enough for Matt Rhule’s men to get a priceless victory on the road.

The New Orleans Saints are among the league’s best run defenses. This will be a big challenge for McCaffrey and the offensive line, who showed signs of life at the New York Giants and hopefully, they can build on this performance moving forward.

New Orleans rarely give up 100-yard runners no matter how good McCaffrey is. If this proves to be the case once again, Ben McAdoo must find a way to get his best weapon involved frequently in the passing game.

Targets have been few and far between where McCaffrey is concerned so far. After some significant criticism from national analysts such as Dan Orlovsky this week, expect Carolina’s offensive coordinator to mix things up in Week 3 and make things less predictable.

While that would be extremely welcome, McCaffrey must remain the focal point. FanDuel Sportsbook is offering -114 for the All-Pro to accumulate more than 100.5 rushing and receiving yards (bet $114 to win $100), which is a distinct possibility given the need for Rhule to end a dismal stretch that’s come with a 2-14 record.
