Carolina Panthers must get more WRs involved

The lack of utilization within a pretty deep wide receiver room is a travesty. Something the Carolina Panthers coaching staff must address as a matter of urgency in Week 3 against the New Orleans Saints.

Terrace Marshall Jr., free-agent signing Rashard Higgins, and newly acquired Laviska Sheanault Jr. need to have an impact on the game. Using three receivers for the past two contests has made it easy for the defense to identify strengths and make them weaknesses.

The inability to use personnel to Carolina’s advantage is detrimental to having any success as an offense in the NFL. There is simply no identity and this has to change immediately.

Ben McAdoo and Matt Rhule seemingly have no clue of how to use what they have positively and that better alter before a stout defense comes into Bank Of America Stadium this Sunday. All the receivers on the active roster should see some type of playing time as there is too much talent being wasted.

Yards will be extremely hard to come by if versus the Saints if the same complications emerge on home soil. And it won’t take long for fans in the stands to voice their opinions if the Panthers find themselves in a hole early.
