Which Carolina Panthers should you start or sit in fantasy football during their Week 4 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals?

The adage of defense wins championships proved to have merit as the Carolina Panthers came alive in this area of play, leading Matt Rhule’s squad to their first win of the season against division rival New Orleans Saints.

With a stellar defensive and special teams outing and recently acquired wide receiver Laviska Shenault Jr. making a splash, fans have a reason for optimism moving to Week 4 as the Arizona Cardinals visit Bank of America Stadium.

Carolina’s offense looks to be slowly improving in the running game. But it still has a long road ahead for the team to be competitive in all facets of the game and potentially enter the postseason discussion after a four-year hiatus.

The Cardinals are sitting second in the NFC West coming with the same record as Carolina. Five-time Pro Bowler DeAndre Hopkins is still serving a six-game suspension, leaving the Panthers defense to focus on quarterback Kyler Murray, running back James Conner, and the pass-catching trio of Marquise Brown, Greg Dortch, and Zach Ertz.

Arizona’s defense is led by safeties Budda Baker, Jalen Thompson, and defensive end J.J. Watt.

While the game is played on the field, you are enjoying the competition in your fantasy football league for the coveted trophy and bragging rights. With the season now entering Week 4, let’s look at the Panthers players to start and sit versus this weekend.
