D.J. Moore prop bets

How the Carolina Panthers are utilizing D.J. Moore has been a hot topic of discussion this week. Claims made by Joe Person of The Athletic surrounding the wide receiver not getting open effectively aren’t reflected in the stats, but something is amiss at the moment and hopefully, offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo figures things out quickly.

Moore’s ability to produce significant numbers despite almost no consistent quarterback play is renowned. The Panthers paid the former first-round pick handsomely this offseason, so it would be wise to make him more of a focal point moving forward.

The Maryland product was not after excuses when speaking in front of the media on Thursday. Moore will be keen to put things right this weekend against a defensive backs unit that has one consistent performer in Budda Baker and not much else.

Providing Baker Mayfield gets enough time in the pocket and becomes decisive in his distribution, then a big day for Moore could be in the offing. However, nobody could guarantee that for sure based on the opening three games.

This could be Moore’s statement game. So betting the wideout to go over 49.5 receiving yards at -148 (bet $148 to win $100) with FanDuel Sportsbook is a risk worth taking.
