What are the best prop bets available when the Carolina Panthers take on the Los Angeles Rams?

The Carolina Panthers begin their new era with a daunting trip to the west coast in Week 6 to take on the defending Super Bowl champions. Things haven’t gone according to plan for the Los Angeles Rams through five weeks, but they still boast a wealth of talent on both sides of the football that warrants significant respect.

Steve Wilks is the new man in charge after the Panthers put Matt Rhule out of his misery on Monday. How much the former Arizona Cardinals head coach can alter things in such a short space of time is debatable, but this landmark change at least provides fans with hope that better times won’t be far away.

Sean McVay will see this as a chance for his team to get right in pursuit of salvaging their title defense. But they would do well not to underestimate the Panthers despite being heavy favorites.

Looking ahead to the contest, we picked out three prop bets worthy of consideration in Week 6.

D’Onta Foreman prop bets

  • Anytime touchdown at +1600 (FanDuel Sportsbook)

Let’s start with a long shot, shall we?

D’Onta Foreman has been seldom seen within the Carolina Panthers offense since joining in free agency from the Tennessee Titans. Something that could change now that Steve Wilks is at the helm, although much will also depend on Ben McAdoo’s ability to adjust.

Foreman might see some carries in short-yardage situations and on the goal line. This makes FanDuel Sportsbook’s +1600 (bet $100 to win $1600) for the Texas product to score a touchdown anytime during the game incredibly tempting.
