5 teams that make sense if Carolina Panthers trade Christian McCaffrey

Christian McCaffrey could join the Bills
The pipeline between the Carolina Panthers and Buffalo Bills is well documented. Something that could lead to yet another player joining former defensive coordinator Sean McDermott in the coming weeks.
Adding Christian McCaffrey to an offense that also includes quarterback Josh Allen, Stefon Diggs, and Gabe Davis almost isn’t fair. Buffalo has a decent running back tandem in Devin Singletary and James Cook, but the All-Pro could get them over the hump to the Super Bowl providing he remains healthy for the entire campaign.
Opposing defenses would have nightmares trying to cope with the Bills in this scenario. Stacking the box to limit McCaffrey’s influence would allow other skill position players to thrive, and the dual-threat weapon might also be afforded more space with Diggs and Davis on the outside.
Buffalo looks primed for another deep postseason run in 2022. They might have fallen short in the playoffs last time around, but everything is in place to finally clinch the AFC and get their hands on an elusive Super Bowl triumph.
Placing McCaffrey on this team could be a wrap for other postseason hopefuls, in all honesty. However, the Bills would need to give up their first-round selection in 2023 and perhaps even Cook or Singletary to further sweeten the deal.
