LA Rams could trade for Robbie Anderson

Another team facing wide receiver issues is the one Robbie Anderson faced in Week 6. Although his contribution was non-existent thanks to an ineffective offensive scheme and his aforementioned sideline outburst.

The Los Angeles Rams have failed to gain notable production outside star wideout Cooper Kupp. Despite acquiring Allen Robinson in the offseason, the former Penn State stud has struggled to make an impact totaling just 170 receiving yards and two scores through six weeks.

The NFL rumor mill has mentioned the possibility of Odell Beckham Jr. returning to Los Angeles. He was a member of their 2021 Super Bowl winning roster, but hasn’t found a team since tearing his ACL on the biggest stage of all.

Los Angeles also expects Van Jefferson to return in the not-too-distant future. The 2020 second-round pick is currently on injured/reserve and couple this with a pourous offensive line, new offensive coordnator Liam Coen isn’t generating the consistency needed.

Sen McVay had a first-hand view of Anderson in the team’s Week 6 matchup. But the veteran had little impact in the game, failing to record a catch and was sent to the locker room by Carolina Panthers interim head coach Steve Wilks.

While the Rams may need to add depth at the wideout position, the franchise may be hesitant to part ways with even more draft picks. Something they’ve done freely in the past.
