Laviska Shenault Jr. – Carolina Panthers WR

The other side of the coin to Terrace Marshall Jr. is the newly minted Laviska Shenault Jr.

Where Marshall has all the size and physicality, Shenault has the speed and elusiveness to make opposing defenses pay if they decide to try a man scheme instead.

There is an opportunity for the Carolina Panthers to have a dual threat behind D.J. Moore. Much like the team did a few seasons ago with Curtis Samuel and Robbie Anderson.

While injuries stunted the rise of Shenault as a fan favorite for the Panthers, that long touchdown catch against the New Orleans Saints is still relatively fresh in the mind. The opportunity is always there for a breakout play for the former Jacksonville Jaguar, it’s keeping him healthy that’s the problem.

When looking back a couple of weeks, even in a loss, the San Francisco 49ers were able to gouge the Atlanta Falcons with Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk in an eerily similar fashion as the Panthers did with Shenault against the Saints. Simply get the ball into a playmaker’s hands and let the magic happen.

The same goes the other way as well. If Marshall and Shenault can play off of each other, Atlanta and others will find themselves playing catchup more often than not.
