D.J. Moore prop bets

  • Over 80.0 receiving yards at +225 (FanDuel Sportsbook)

As stated previously, the Atlanta Falcons pass defense has been abysmal this season. Something the Carolina Panthers should take advantage of in pursuit of gaining the NFC South ascendancy.

D.J. Moore will likely be the focal point once again after his best performance from a production standpoint in Week 7. The Panthers almost had no choice other than to target the former first-round selection heavily after trading Robbie Anderson and Christian McCaffrey, which is a trend that should continue over the next 10 contests.

Moore won’t get the chance to test his skills against A.J. Terrell, which is a massive plus. The Clemson product is considered one of the league’s best shutdown cornerbacks, although the talent around him is sub-par at best based on their contributions to date.

It’s been a frustrating campaign overall for Moore so far. But there were real signs of life last time out and if the one-time Maryland standout builds on that, then his first 100-yard receiving game of 2022 could be in the offing in Atlanta.

With this in mind, backing Moore to go over 80 receiving yards at +225 (bet $100 to win $225) on FanDuel Sportsbook’s alternate projection is tempting. However, this will also depend on P.J. Walker maintaining his high-performance levels and the offensive line providing enough stability against Grady Jarrett.
