4 bold predictions for the Carolina Panthers vs. Falcons in Week 10

P.J. Walker redeems himself with three TD passes
Any positivity that surrounded P.J. Walker quickly evaporated in Week 9. The quarterback was nothing short of a catastrophe under center at the Cincinnati Bengals, finishing the first half with a 0.0 passer rating before he was eventually benched for Baker Mayfield.
That led many to believe that the Carolina Panthers would move forward with Mayfield as their starter once again. But interim head coach Steve Wilks opted to give Walker the benefit of the doubt and start him in Week 10 on Thursday Night Football.
Only time will tell as to whether or not it was the right decision. Walker’s second-half showing at the Atlanta Falcons probably tipped the scales in his favor, but performing similar miracles now the opposition has solid tape to gameplan against represents a challenge.
As stated previously, the Falcons’ secondary has struggled this season. Something that Walker took advantage of during their opening divisional encounter and might happen again provided he can shake off last weekend’s disaster.
This represents the last chance saloon for Walker. A poor start could see Mayfield introduced, but there’s also a chance he galvanizes himself and the Panthers to bigger things.
It’s a fine line. One that could really go either way at this juncture.
