Who were the major standouts to emerge from the Carolina Panthers’ well-deserved victory over the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday Night Football?

Considering how low morale was among the fanbase after the Carolina Panthers suffered their most embarrassing loss of the season in Week 9, that did not translate to the players or interim head coach Steve Wilks. A quick turnaround seemed to do the trick, with a much-improved display resulting in a much-needed triumph over the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday Night Football.

The Panthers got off to a good start and built from there. They won their battles in the trenches and although things were closer than they should have been late on, Carolina dug deep to send the home fans away from Bank of America Stadium happy.

This brought dismay among many supporters clamoring for a high draft pick and the chance to select Bryce Young or C.J. Stroud. But that is not the concern of Wilks or his players, who remain determined to overcome significant adversity and end 2022 on a high.

Without further ado, here are four major standouts from Carolina’s impressive Week 10 win versus the Falcons.

While some questioned whether or not Sam Franklin should make the 2022 roster when final cuts were made this summer, his ability to consistently produce on special teams was the primary factor behind this decision. Something that came to light in a big way during a morale-boosting win for the Carolina Panthers in front of the national spotlight.

Franklin was everywhere on special teams, catching the eye significantly from start to finish. It’s an often overlooked part of the game, but his contribution was impressive and significant in equal measure.
