What were the biggest disappointments to emerge from the Carolina Panthers’ loss against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 11?

Nobody anticipated the Carolina Panthers putting up a big enough challenge at the Baltimore Ravens to come away with a shock victory. Even if the 13.0-point point spread heading into the contest was insulting when one considers the strides made under interim head coach Steve Wilks.

These are two teams going in completely different directions in 2022. Carolina is looking at another dramatic offseason and a high-end draft pick while the Ravens could emerge as a genuine Super Bowl challenger based on their performance levels so far.

Despite an outstanding performance on defense, the Panthers fell to a 13-3 loss. This takes them to 3-8 for the campaign and with far more questions than answers about their current state.

With that in mind, here are the four biggest disappointments to emerge from Carolina’s road defeat in Week 11 at M&T Bank Stadium.

It was an encouraging afternoon for the defense overall. But when the Baltimore Ravens needed big plays in key moments, there was only one player they targeted.

C.J. Henderson gave up multiple completions going up against Demarcus Robinson, who had a career day. The cornerback continues to disappoint during what appeared to be a make-or-break campaign for the former first-round pick, but a lack of alternatives means the Carolina Panthers will continue putting him out on the field down the stretch.
