What things should Carolina Panthers fans be thankful for during what’s been an eventful and uninspiring 2022 season?

The Carolina Panthers haven’t given their fans much to cheer this season. It’s been another campaign of frustration and major underachievement for the NFC South basement-dwellers, who look set for landmark changes once again this offseason as those in power finally aim to put a long-term strategy in place.

Things have been looking up slightly since Steve Wilks took over as interim head coach. But their horrible loss at the Baltimore Ravens in Week 11 despite holding Lamar Jackson to 13 points is a good indication of how much more is needed.

Thanksgiving is a time for reflection and appreciation for what we have. Others aren’t so lucky and in a weird way, this also stems from personal circumstances to the Panthers as well.

With this in mind, here are four things Panthers fans should be thankful for in 2022.

Carolina Panthers have a great OL

For all the bad production on offense this season, the Carolina Panthers and its long-suffering fanbase can take heart from one thing. They have a tremendous offensive line at last.

This has been some time coming and was one of the team’s biggest frustrations by a considerable margin. But Ikem Ekwonu, Austin Corbett, Brady Christensen, Bradley Bozeman, and Taylor Moton look like a solid group capable of great things moving forward.

Providing the Panthers extend Bozeman next spring, this is an outstanding foundation from which to build. And it’s been an age since Carolina could say that about its protection.
