Upon further examination, this looks like arguably the most winnable remaining game for the Carolina Panthers in 2022. Although the Denver Broncos boast one of the league’s most intimidating defenses across the board, interim head coach Steve Wilks and his staff will be eager to exploit some significant weaknesses on offense despite their high-profile trade for Russell Wilson.
The quarterback is among the most prolific veteran players anywhere in the NFL. However, the change of scenery has not done Wilson any favors and the Panthers’ defense is more than capable of causing untold problems for the signal-caller when in the mood.
Of course, Carolina has its own difficulties under center. Sam Darnold gets his first start of the campaign in Week 12, but whether this comes with a shift in performance levels remains to be seen.
