Carolina Panthers RB D’Onta Foreman goes over 100 rushing yards

Despite not being able to generate much on the ground last weekend at the Baltimore Ravens, that should not prevent the Carolina Panthers from leaning on D’Onta Foreman heavily once again in Week 12. The running back has made an eye-catching impression since Christian McCaffrey’s trade to the San Francisco 49ers, which could see an extension coming his way with a strong finish to the team’s fixtures.

Foreman’s bruising style and physicality have been a tremendous asset to call upon. While it wasn’t exactly a bed of roses last time out, the former Texas stud could have a much more profitable afternoon against a Denver Broncos defense that’s giving up 115.3 yards per game on the ground.

Some of Foreman’s best performances since winning the starting job have come at Bank of America Stadium. Inspiring the team’s long-suffering fanbase has evidently motivated the player, which can be put to good use on Sunday if offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo schemes things better than he accomplished in Baltimore.

Carolina is treating Foreman like a starting running back these days, resting the player for certain practices to ensure he’s in top shape when game day arrives. But how he bounces back in the face of adversity will go a long way to determining what his future might look like in Carolina beyond 2022.

Should Foreman manage to go over 100 rushing yards versus the Broncos, the better Carolina’s chances will be of attaining their fourth victory of the season.
