By Dean Jones
What are the big storylines to watch when the Carolina Panthers go up against the Denver Broncos in Week 12 at Bank of America Stadium?
Not many are expecting fireworks when the Carolina Panthers welcome the Denver Broncos in Week 12. Both teams are struggling to generate any consistency on offense, so this could be a defensive affair decided by fine margins when it’s all said and done.
This is Carolina’s last engagement before their bye week, which is a chance for Steve Wilks to reassess and adjust in pursuit of a strong end to the campaign. However, he won’t want his team to fall flat on their face yet again at Bank of America Stadium versus one of the league’s biggest disappointments in 2022.
It’s all about character. The Panthers aren’t playing for much other than pride and Wilks potentially getting the head coaching job long-term, so it’ll be interesting to see how this contest is approached by the coaching staff.
With that being said, here are three big Panthers storylines to monitor in Week 12 versus the Broncos.

How much fight is left in the Carolina Panthers?
It was another disappointing defeat for the Carolina Panthers in Week 11. Something that could knock whatever fight remained out of the locker room.
Steve Wilks is keeping everyone motivated and on the same page. It’s also worth remembering that Carolina’s defense was in tremendous form last time out, restricting Lamar Jackson to just 13 points during a solid display overall.
The Panthers are slowly getting their pride back under Wilks, even if the results might not show it. However, they’ll have to fight hard for everything in front of their long-suffering fanbase.
