Carolina Panthers vs. Steelers early odds and prediction for Week 15
By Dean Jones
Can the Carolina Panthers extend their impressive recent home record and boost their NFC South title chances against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 15?
After a signature win at the Seattle Seahawks, there is now genuine hope that the Carolina Panthers can finish the campaign strongly and potentially wrestle the NFC South crown from Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. An unbelievable turn of events considering how bleak things looked once upon a time, but something that cannot be ruled out after a phenomenal change of fortunes under Steve Wilks.
The interim head coach is staking the biggest claim imaginable for the job long-term. Players are responding well to his methods and there just seems to be a completely different feel to the Panthers these days compared to the squalor Matt Rhule descended on the franchise before his firing.
Wilks is 3-0 at home and has issued a rallying cry to the team’s fanbase ahead of their Week 15 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The terrible towels normally travel extremely well and any team coached by Mike Tomlin deserves respect despite their lack of form lately, so any help Carolina gets from the stands will be welcome.
This will be another nerve-racking affair, one suspects. But if the Panthers can get their sixth win of 2022, there’s just no telling what this team might be capable of.

Carolina Panthers vs. Steelers prediction for Week 15
This will be a playoff atmosphere the likes of which Carolina hasn’t experienced in some time. For many players, it will be their first taste of feeling like this, so harnessing these heightened emotions in the right way will go a long way to determining the overall outcome.
The Steelers aren’t playing for anything other than pride. But their defense boasts some outstanding playmakers and they do have offensive weapons such as George Pickens, Najee Harris, Diontae Johnson, and Pat Freiermuth that must be treated with the greatest respect.
Carolina’s defense is playing lights out right now and the offense is doing just enough with Sam Darnold under center. Much will depend on whether wide receiver D.J. Moore’s knee complication forces him to miss out, but this looks like another winnable game for the Panthers in front of a fanbase with renewed belief.
With this in mind, we are tipping the Panthers to claim a fourth-successive triumph on home soil versus the Steelers. Although it promises to be another tense contest with very little margin for error.
