3 best prop bets for the Carolina Panthers vs. Steelers in Week 15

Sam Darnold prop bets
- Under 27.5 passing attempts at -114 (FanDuel Sportsbook)
While quarterback Sam Darnold didn’t do all that much statistically in Week 15, his second straight game without a turnover was enough for the Carolina Panthers to pick up their first road success of 2022. However, more might be needed from the signal-caller if the team’s ambitious yet realistic playoff dreams want to become reality.
Darnold is adapting well to a game-manager role behind one of the league’s most improved offensive lines. There’s still a level of nervousness associated with watching him process information, but it’s been a lot better than many envisaged overall.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have a fearsome pass rush when firing on all cylinders. T.J. Watt, Cameron Heyward, and Alex Hightower provide the spark and if afforded enough space can completely turn any game on its head.
This is something Darnold needs to be ready for. But the Panthers’ rushing attack must set the tone and make things easier for the former USC standout from the outset.
If the likes of D’Onta Foreman and Chuba Hubbard gain early momentum and the Panthers don’t have to play from behind at any stage, it could be another encouraging performance for Darnold as a result. One that could also reap rewards for anyone backing the No. 3 overall selection in 2018 to attempt less than 27.5 passes at -114 (bet $114 to win $100) with FanDuel Sportsbook.
