Which Carolina Panthers players are fighting for roster spots during their regular-season finale at the New Orleans Saints in Week 18?

Although there is little other than personal pride remaining for the Carolina Panthers in Week 18, many on the roster have a lot at stake. With the promise of a new head coach coming into the fold, players are fighting to leave one final good impression before an important offseason gets underway for the franchise.

It promises to be a few months of great change across the Panthers. There appears to be a solid nucleus in place on the playing personnel side, but it’s vital that team owner David Tepper trusts the likes of Scott Fitterer, Samir Suleiman, and Dan Morgan to make the right decisions rather than going off the cuff himself.

For some, their fate is already sealed. For others, standing out at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome could make the difference between getting a new deal or waving goodbye to the Panthers.

With this in mind, here are four Panthers players fighting for roster spots in their 2022 finale at the Saints.

It’s been a dramatic first season with the Carolina Panthers for Henry Anderson. The defensive end flashed from a rotational role before suffering a stroke in mid-November, which he thankfully recovered from quickly to play a part down the stretch.

The defensive front has been solid if not spectacular overall in 2022. If Anderson wants to enhance his chances of an extended stay in Carolina, he must produce the goods when called upon against a formidable Saints rushing attack led by Alvin Kamara.
