D.J. Moore – Carolina Panthers WR

After so much inconsistency on offense, D.J. Moore‘s streak of 1,000-yard receiving seasons finally came to an end in 2022. This is despite the wideout being one of the more productive players throughout the campaign once again.

Moore needs help. The player cannot do it alone and nor should he.

Appointing Frank Reich gives Moore hope things can finally start trending positively. His supreme knowledge of running successful NFL offenses is renowned and respected in equal measure, which should benefit the former first-round selection exponentially.

Expect to see Moore in motion plenty as Reich conjures up ways to get him easy looks. This creativity was sorely lacking when Matt Rhule and Ben McAdoo devised the scheme.

This was also true when Steve Wilks took charge, but his defense-first mentality dictated such restrictions. Now that Reich has creative control and might even end up calling the plays himself, Moore’s stock is sure to soar as a result.

Providing the Carolina Panthers get the right quarterback into the building, everything should start clicking. If this happens, then Moore is going to be the man who makes things happen in the passing game.

Make no mistake about that.
