What moves could Carolina Panthers head coach Frank Reich make next to bolster an impressive-looking staff in 2023?

It’s been an encouraging start to Frank Reich‘s coaching staff rebuild since his appointment. There is a lot of hard work ahead in the coming weeks, but fans are looking ahead with a sense of optimism that wasn’t there at any stage during Matt Rhule’s abysmal tenure.

The latest notable acquisition was defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero, who was the subject of considerable interest from elsewhere before Reich swooped with an offer he couldn’t refuse. This is a major coup by the Panthers and one that’s likely to make Carolina’s defense a force next season.

This is a good start, but no more than that. Some fans remain skeptical about Reich after hitching their wagon to Steve Wilks, but if the same standard of hires some into the franchise before OTAs, it should get everyone on the same page.

With this in mind, here are four moves Reich could make in the near future to further bolster Carolina’s staff in 2023.

Carolina Panthers could bring in John Fox

Frank Reich could be the catalyst behind John Fox’s emotional return to the Carolina Panthers. This is a place where he was head coach from 2002-10 and gained plenty of success along the way.

The experienced figure worked as a senior consultant under Reich with the Indianapolis Colts last season. If the same happens again, this is one of the more sentimental moves the Panthers could make in the circumstances.
