What hypothetical trade packages could the Carolina Panthers offer for quarterback Lamar Jackson if the Baltimore Ravens cannot work out a new deal?

It seems the Carolina Panthers are always a quarterback away from having a chance to compete within their division. Over the past three seasons, a good roster was limited by poor coaching from Matt Rhule and a lack of an answer at the most important position on the field.

New head coach Frank Reich seems likely to start fresh and attempt to find his own quarterback. Something he was unable to do with the Indianapolis Colts once Andrew Luck announced his bombshell retirement.

One possibility and the best quarterback who could become available is Lamar Jackson.

If we are being completely realistic, it is very improbable that Jackson leaves the Baltimore Ravens. With his injury, John Harbaugh was given an up-close look at life without his star signal-caller, and it wasn’t good.

It is hard to see Baltimore letting Jackson walk away. Even with the obvious concerns for a quarterback who has taken a lot of hits.

However, if there is even a hint that the former first-round selection is hitting the trade market, Carolina should be willing to spend what it takes to acquire a player that would change their franchise and make them the team to beat in the NFC South.

Looking at potential trade packages for Jackson, it’s clear that the compensation would be substantial. With this in mind, here are three hypothetical scenarios Carolina could offer.
