4 Panthers players who’ll benefit most from Thomas Brown hire in 2023

Tommy Tremble – Carolina Panthers TE
While tight ends were not regularly featured within Sean McVay’s offensive scheme on the Los Angeles Rams, it’s unlikely Thomas Brown and Frank Reich will adopt such a mindset. This could mean a potential breakout campaign in 2023 for Tommy Tremble if everything goes well this off-season.
Tremble has the athleticism to make more of an impression in the passing game. He is a threat with the ball in his hands and in the red zone, which is something that won’t go unnoticed by Brown as the offensive coordinator looks to take the Carolina Panthers offense to the next level.
While there is some work for Tremble to do in pursuit of creating separation more effectively, all hope is not lost just yet. And the significant upgrade in coaches across the board means there are no more excuses entering Year 3 for the one-time Notre Dame standout.
Obviously, the Panthers will examine every option to potentially upgrade the position. Anything else would be foolish considering how Tremble and Ian Thomas have failed to impact the pass-catching aspect of the position in recent years.
This would also increase the sense of urgency surrounding Tremble – another undoubted positive considering the player’s work ethic and the energy he brings on and off the field.
