4 players who could follow Thomas Brown to the Panthers in 2023

Carolina Panthers could target Odell Beckham Jr.
We’re swinging for the fences here, right?
The Carolina Panthers are clearly serious about winning in 2023. It’s been a long time since anybody associated with the franchise could say that thanks in no small part to the miserable management of Matt Rhule before his long-awaited firing.
Frank Reich’s arrival and the all-star coaching staff he’s put together are going to make veterans think twice about the Panthers in free agency. But unlike the Rhule years, this is a positive rather than anything negative.
Could this lead to the Panthers signing Odell Beckham Jr.? Unlikely, but he knows Thomas Brown from their time together on the Los Angeles Rams and might be tempted if the money is right.
This might be a smaller market than Beckham’s used to. But it’s a chance for the veteran wide receiver to land on a progressive team that could be set for significant improvements if they get their quarterback in 2023.
Beckham was hoping to come back onto a contender late in 2022 before interested teams decided his knee injury needed more time. If everything checks out in the coming weeks before free agency, there should be a queue of suitors looking to bring him on board.
This would be a bombshell even if the Panthers declared an interest. And considering Beckham was reportedly looking for a lucrative, multi-year deal, those in power will likely explore other options.
