Which NFL Draft prospects could offensive coordinator Thomas Brown have his eye on for the Carolina Panthers in 2023?

After a lengthy search with numerous candidates considered, the Carolina Panthers chose Thomas Brown as their next offensive coordinator. The progressive young coach gets the chance to make a leading contribution to an all-star staff, which has sent expectations through the roof thanks to Frank Reich’s tireless work and the funds from team owner David Tepper.

Brown hails from the Sean McVay coaching tree and was a trusted confidant of the head coach during their time together on the Los Angeles Rams. He is another that gained head coaching interest this offseason, which could increase in 2024 depending on how he fares from a prominent position in Carolina.

Although general manager Scott Fitterer has the final say on personnel, the front office figure will lean heavily on scouts, coaches, and other trusted individuals throughout the process. Something that could make Brown’s voice one of the most important when it comes to offensive recruitment.

With this in mind, here are four NFL Draft prospects that Brown might want for the Panthers in 2023.

Finding explosive players for any new quarterback is key once this pivotal need is filled. The Carolina Panthers have some quality already on the roster, but Thomas Brown will benefit greatly from further additions as he conjures up the right scheme alongside head coach Frank Reich.

Much will depend on how the board plays out, but Tank Dell looks like someone that can make an immediate difference. His lack of size is a concern, but the wide receiver gets open quickly from the slot and is a threat to take it to the house at any given opportunity.
