3 trade offers for the Carolina Panthers to land Danielle Hunter in 2023

Carolina Panthers trade offer No. 2
As stated previously, the Minnesota Vikings will likely attempt to drive a hard bargain for those looking to acquire Danielle Hunter via trade. Especially considering they've already shipped Za'Darius Smith to the Cleveland Browns for minimal draft compensation.
This is all about leverage. Teams around the league will be fully aware that the Vikings are in a period of transition, which is something they'll probably look to exploit by getting someone with Hunter's elite credentials for below the going rate.
General manager Scott Fitterer is known for being in on every deal - someone with an aggressive approach to recruitment and isn't afraid of the consequences if things go wrong. This fearless mentality has been evident throughout the offseason and is unlikely to change during his time with the Carolina Panthers.
Just what the Panthers are saving all their cap space for is anyone's guess. But it's hard to look at Hunter's performance levels last season and not think he wouldn't be a significant upgrade on anything Carolina has opposite Brian Burns currently.
If the price is right, then the Panthers would be foolish not to consider the possibility of bringing Hunter into the fold. And perhaps a third-round selection during the 2024 NFL Draft would be a nice enough compromise for all parties involved.
