The Carolina Panthers are becoming a worldwide phenomenon.

Last week you may have read about the Tampa Bay Buccaneers front office admitting that it wants to emulate the way Carolina does things. They certainly have been aggressive in free agency. On Sunday Jaxon over at Cat Scratch Reader examined whether or not they’re catching up in the NFC South.

The Bucs are not the only ones who want to do things the Panther way, though.

Roy Williams and the North Carolina Tar Heels, who just advanced past the Final Four, have taken to dabbing after their victories. Apparently they’re even using it in their intro videos before each game now.

It’s not hard to see why everyone wants to be like them. The future looks great for Jerry Richardson‘s team.

ESPN released their post free agency power ranking list a few days ago, and they have the Carolina Panthers at number two, just behind the New England Patriots. NFL.com had the Panthers at number one in their own rankings two weeks ago.

Teams with new NFL head coaches are starting their offseason workouts today, but Carolina has won a special reprieve and won’t begin until April 25th, per Black and Blue Review.

Meanwhile, we got good news on middle linebacker Luke Kuechly this weekend. According to the official Carolina Panthers website, Kuechly says that his recovery from having surgery to repair his shoulder is on schedule. Also, they took a look at whether or not general managers like Dave Gettleman use mock drafts.

Finally, over at the Charlotte Observer, Jonathan Jones wrote about fullback Mike Tolbert’s offseason hobby: boxing. Apparently this is the sixth year in a row that Tolbert has trained in San Diego. That’s one guy who we definitely would not want to step into the ring with.
