Key Matchup

What will be the key matchup in the game on Sunday against Carolina?

Ziegler: With Panthers wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin likely to suit up, the matchup between him and Stephon Gilmore is certainly a good one. The Patriots brought in Gilmore this offseason to specifically guard big receivers like Benjamin.

If Gilmore cant shut him down, it will certainly help the Patriots’ defense have a good game.

Benjamin was targeted often early last week before having to exit during the first quarter following a knee injury. If healthy, expect even more looks, especially in the absence of Newton’s favorite target, Olsen.
