Ziegler: It is hard to ever pick against the Patriots at home, but they certainly are a far from perfect team. With the Panthers coming off an embarrassing loss at home last week to the Saints, expect to see them very focused for the task at hand.

New England Patriots 31, Carolina Panthers 24

Carolina was embarrassed at home against a winless New Orleans Saints team last week. Despite currently being 2-1, the Panthers will play an underdog role in Foxborough on Sunday. Outside of the locker room, it is hard to find anyone with confidence in the Panthers to win.

A victory would definitely silence a lot of the critics and with four of their next five on the road, help kickoff a tough stretch with an impressive win. However, the Panthers secondary proved vulnerable last week and now faces arguably the greatest quarterback of all-time.
