New Orleans Saints v Atlanta Falcons

Atlanta Falcons (9-5) at New Orleans Saints (10-4), 1:00pm

Falcons Win: A win for Atlanta would set up an epic showdown in the season finale with Carolina and clinch them a playoff berth. If the Panthers defeat Tampa Bay and the Falcons win, next week’s winner will be crowned the divisional champion. Atlanta defeated New Orleans just two weeks ago at home, 20-17. If Carolina falls to the Buccaneers and Atlanta wins, Carolina must win in Week 17 or risk not making the playoffs.

Saints Win: A Saints victory and Panthers loss would give New Orleans the title of NFC South champion. If Carolina beats Tampa Bay, then New Orleans must win next week in order to capture that title but a position in the playoffs is guaranteed with a win here. After losing to Atlanta, returning the favor would force Atlanta into a must win situation to avoid relying on tie breakers and help to make the playoffs.
