Carolina Panthers owner David Tepper is a former minority owner with the Pittsburgh Steelers and native of the Steel City. Returning to his hometown and facing the former team that he supported will be a warm up to Week 10 when Carolina returns with much more on the line.
The Panthers and Steelers are familiar preseason opponents, facing one another for the sixteenth consecutive season on Thursday night. However, the two teams rarely meet during regular season play but will this year.
