Week 6: Carolina Panthers 17, Washington Redskins 23

Carolina dug themselves a hole with poor special teams play and turnovers against Washington and never could quite recover. Despite a better second half performance, the Panthers offense sputtered once inside the red zone on a game ending drive that finished with three consecutive incomplete passes needing just five yards for a first-down.

Week 7: at Philadelphia Eagles (3-3), 1:00pm

The Eagles rolled into Bank of America Stadium last year and handed Carolina their second loss of the season in front of a national audience on Thursday night. Philadelphia then went on to win the Super Bowl and will host the Panthers this year. A cleaner performance would be a good start to not suffering back-to-back road losses early.
